The cattle behind the beef · Clermont, FL
Where It Comes From
Faria's Sunset Ranch is a family-owned, working cattle ranch in Clermont, Florida. The cattle are registered Brangus, raised on open pasture here on the property, with hands-on daily care from the family that owns the place.
That is what farm-raised means for us. It is a specific ranch, in a specific town, run by specific people, and the beef comes from the same cattle we look after every day.
The Breed
Brangus is three-eighths Brahman and five-eighths Angus, stabilized as its own registered breed. The Brahman side is why the cattle handle a Florida summer. The Angus side is the half that shows up on the plate.
That combination is the reason we run this breed here. There is more on the cattle side of the operation on our registered Brangus cattle page.
Marbling and tenderness are what the Angus half brings to the cross. We compared the two directly in Brangus vs Angus.
Heat, humidity and pest tolerance are what let these cattle do well on Florida pasture. Background in Brangus vs Brahman.
How It Works
We are a small family operation, so this works differently than a grocery store. There is no standing list on this page and no order button, because what we can offer is not the same from one part of the year to the next.
Availability changes throughout the year. Call or text us to ask what is currently available, and we will tell you where things stand rather than have you guess from a web page.

We would rather answer your questions directly than publish details here that may not match the situation when you read them. Ask us when you call and you will get a straight answer.
Where We Are
The ranch is in Clermont, in Lake County, which puts us in the middle of Central Florida and an easy drive from the greater Orlando area.
For people nearby who would rather know the ranch their beef came from than read a label, that closeness is the point. We are not a distant name on a package. We are a working ranch down the road.

What Matters to Us
We are a family, not a brand. The ranch name on the beef is our own, and that is not something we treat lightly.
The cattle are looked after on open pasture, by hand, by us. That is the part we care about, and it is the part we can speak to honestly when someone asks about the beef.
