Getting Here
Faria's Sunset Ranch is in Clermont, in south Lake County, up on the rolling sand ridge that runs down the middle of the state. That corner of the county is a useful place to be if you are buying cattle: US 27 runs north and south past us, State Road 50 runs east toward Orlando, and Florida's Turnpike is close enough that most of Central Florida is a same-day trip.
In practice that means a buyer in Orlando, Kissimmee, Winter Garden, Leesburg or Davenport can drive out, walk the pasture, look at cattle properly, and be home the same afternoon. That matters more than it sounds. Cattle are worth seeing in person, and a buyer who can make the drive without turning it into an overnight trip is a buyer who actually sees what they are getting.
Come see the cattle before you decide. Call or text (321) 945-8290 first so we know you are coming and can have the right animals somewhere you can look at them. Directions are easy from anywhere in the metro.
Coverage
Central Florida is not one market. Lake County buyers and Polk County buyers are running different ground, different pasture and often different herds. Here is where we sit relative to each of them, with the local pages if you want the detail for your own area.
The ranch is here, in Clermont. Cattle buyers in Minneola, Groveland, Mascotte, Montverde, Leesburg, Mount Dora, Tavares and Eustis are all close enough to drive out on a weekday morning. More about the ranch in Clermont.
Clermont sits near Orange County's western edge, so the Orlando side of the metro is a short run across State Road 50. Orlando, Winter Garden, Ocoee, Apopka, Windermere and Winter Park.
Osceola is cattle country in its own right, and we hear from buyers there regularly. Kissimmee and St. Cloud are both a straightforward drive from the ranch.
Down US 27 and along the I-4 corridor: Davenport, Haines City, Lakeland, Winter Haven and Bartow.
North of Orlando, still comfortably inside a day trip. Sanford and Lake Mary.
The northern edge of what we would call Central Florida. The Villages, Wildwood, Bushnell and Ocala.
Local Advantage
There is a practical reason to buy registered Brangus from a Central Florida ranch rather than shipping cattle in from out of state. Ours have spent their whole lives on the sandy, well-drained ridge soils around Clermont, grazing the bahiagrass pasture most of this region runs on, through summers that stay hot and wet and winters that barely slow the grass down.
An animal bought out of a cooler climate has to learn all of that after it arrives, usually during its first Florida summer. One that grew up twenty or forty miles from your place has already done it. If you are building a herd in Lake, Orange, Osceola or Polk County, that head start is real, and it is the main thing a local Brangus breeder can offer you that a catalog cannot.
If you want the breed background rather than the geography, our registered Brangus cattle program page covers how we raise them, and the journal explains why Brangus cattle thrive in Florida and what registered really means.

Current Availability
We are a small family operation rather than a sale barn, so there is no standing lot and no inventory list to scroll. Cattle come available as animals mature and as the herd develops, which means the only honest answer to "what do you have right now" is the one we give you on the phone.
Tell us what you are after and roughly where in Central Florida you are, and you will get one of three straight answers: we have something that fits, something is coming, or we are not the right ranch for what you need. All three are real answers, and we would rather give you the third one than sell you the wrong animal.
Ask what is available now. Call or text (321) 945-8290, or send the cattle inquiry form below.
Cattle Inquiry
Tell us what you are looking for and where in the region you are, and we will tell you what we have. If you would rather just talk, call or text and you will reach the family directly.
We answer as a family, not a call center. Nothing here commits you to anything.
Nearby
Most of the people who call us are within an hour of the ranch. If you want the detail for your own town, including how far out you are and what else we do there, the local pages cover it.

Hauling is something we work out per animal and per buyer rather than quote as a standing service. Some buyers bring their own trailer, some make other arrangements. Ask us when you call and we will tell you what is workable for your situation.
